The workshop will held in Porquerolles, a beautiful island of the French Riviera.
Transportation
Porquerolles island is accessible only by boat from Tour Fondue, Giens.
- A french shipping compagny operates between Tour Fondue (Giens)
and Porquerolles island (crossing about 20 minutes, 16 euros round trip ticket).
The company is available from 9AM to 6:30PM (one boat every 30 minutes). - It is also possible to take a Taxi boat.
You have to make a reservation for the taxi boat available 24h/24 (Tel. +33 6 09 52 31 19, prices from 80 to 130 euros).
How to get to Tour fondue ?
Train
Train tickets can be bought on www.voyages-sncf.com.
The nearest train station is Hyères Station. There are direct trains from Paris
Gare de Lyon station to the Hyères station (4 hours and 15 minutes trip). From Hyères station, it is possible to take a taxi (25-30 euros approximately)
to go to Tour fondue or a bus Line number 67 (direct, 1,40 euros per ticket).
It is also possible to arrive at Toulon Station by train and and to then take a bus or a taxi.
Plane
The nearest airport is Hyères-Toulon Airport.
It is about 15 min from Tour Fondue. The best way to reach Tour fondue is to take a taxi (15-20 euros approximately).
Two other airports can be considered Nice Airport and
Marseille Airport but they require a train trip to the
Hyères station and then a bus or taxi ride.
Conference center
The workshop will be hosted by the Igesa center of Porquerolles, rue de la douane, 83400 Hyères.
Igesa center is about 5 minutes walk from boat arrival.
